This program is for ladies only and because it is focused on quiet reflection, it is best suited for those ages 18 and up.

Forest what?!  Yes!  Forest bathing.  Join volunteer Suzann Schiemer as we learn about the practice of Shinrin-Yoku.  Japanese studies have shown that connecting with the environment through our senses provides restorative wellness benefits.

Participants should plan to spend 2.5 - 3 hours in the woods for this program, which will include a slow walk and periods of time to explore, interact, and connect with the environment through our senses.  Ample time will be given for you to explore and experience nature.

Bring water, a light snack, and wear sturdy footwear.  Bug spray is recommended.
