Who needs a bubble bath when you can bathe in the forest!
Join volunteer Suzann Schiemer as we learn about the practice of Shinrin-Yoku. Japanese studies have shown that connecting with the environment through out senses provides restorative wellness benefits.
Participants should plan to spend 2.5-3 hours in the woods for this program, which will include a slow walk and periods of time to explore, interact, and connect with the environment through the senses. Ample time will be given for you to explore and experience nature.
Bring water, a light snack, and wear sturdy footwear. Sunscreen and bug spray are recommended.
For mature adults age 55 and up.
Park and meet at the Glens Parking Lot off of Route 118.
Space is limited so please register by clicking on the green register button.
