FULL Forest Therapy Walk: Unwind and Connect
This program is FULL. Please use the registration link to be added to the wait list.
Unplug, slow down, and awaken your senses. Join DCNR Conservation Volunteer and certified Forest Therapy Guide, Matt Shope, for a gentle, immersive experience along the beautiful Gould Trail.
Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), this one to two hour experience isn’t a strenuous hike or a nature lecture. Instead, it is a slow, mindful journey where you will be offered gentle sensory invitations to tune into the sights, sounds, and textures of the forest, concluding with a quiet, restorative tea gathering.
Wear comfortable layers and sturdy trail shoes. Bring a water bottle and an open mind. No prior experience is necessary.
Space is limited. Registration is required.
If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact our office at 272-808-6192
