Say hello to 2022 with a hike at Moraine State Park.  Various trail options and limited attendance makes it easy to spread out and enjoy the hike. Reserve your spot in the First Day Hike with views of Lake Arthur and through snowy woods, on the Pleasant Valley Trail, a two mile loop around the South Shore. Adding Hilltop Trail to the Pleasant Valley loop, if desired, will add three more miles to your hike. First Day Hikes, open to all ages and friendly dogs on leashes, will be led by park staff and volunteers from the Butler Outdoor Club.

Reservations are required for every person attending. Be sure to click the “register” button on the DCNR Calendar of Events. Confirmation and meeting location will be emailed to you once you complete your registration. Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather and the outdoors, and bring your own drink and snacks. Severe weather cancels event. All current health guidelines will be followed.
