First Day Hike 2023

Start the new year with a easy to moderate hike around the lake with the park naturalist and Kristin Joivell, Standing Stone Trail Club volunteer. Enjoy viewing the calm water of Whipple Lake as we hike together around this 18-acre body of water for a distance of approximately 3 miles on the first day of 2023. As we travel along the trail, we can take advantage of the opportunities to view wildlife and the forest they call home. Meet at the Whipple Dam Beach at 1PM. Bring your camera, water, snacks, and dress for the weather.
