Welcome in the new year with an enjoyable stroll around the winter forest!  This event is part of a First Day Hike tradition at state parks all over the country and Canada. Start the year off on the right foot and then afterward, warm up in the Nolde mansion where the Friends of Nolde Forest will be hosting an open house. Both events celebrate the rich traditions and historic forest of this land that all Pennsylvanians share!    

The afternoon hike will begin at McConnell Hall parking lot at 1:00 PM.  Make sure you dress for the weather by wearing layers and hiking shoes!  

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for all participants. We will not be able to take walk up participants.

Registration is open Dec 19 (9am) - Dec 30 (12pm)

Due to high demand, participants should only sign up for ONE of the First Day Hike options.
