Get outside and ring in the New Year with a relaxed 2-mile afternoon hike around the Militia Hill Day Use Area, beginning at the Hawk Watch Deck.  We will traverse wooded and open paths through the park while your guide provides a brief history of the park and the ties to the Continental Army of 1777. Generally, this is an easy hike, with a few moderate sections of narrow / rocky / steep terrain.  This path is not well-suited for strollers.  Heated bathrooms are available at the parking lot.
