Celebrate the weekend with a firefly program at Oil Creek! We'll spend some time getting to know these interesting insects, why they are important, and how we can help them while enjoying a cozy campfire, weather permitting. Afterward, we’ll be participating in a citizen science project, collecting information on the fireflies that live in our park. Bring a flashlight, a camp chair, and a container for catching fireflies! (A cleaned peanut butter jar with holes poked in the lid works great.)
