Field Study Findings - Chickadee Research at Nolde Forest

Calling all Bird Enthusiasts!

Join us on December 9th, 2023 to learn about the local chickadee population from esteemed Villanova biology professor Robert Curry.  After studying the population of Black-capped and Carolina chickadees at Nolde Forest since 1997, he has made many amazing discoveries.

After the lecture, people interested in enlisting to carry on the research will receive further training and learn the ins and outs of chickadee research. Learn how to distinguish previously identified birds from their color bands and hike to one of the research snags to see what is involved in the future monitoring project.

Come join us for an afternoon of discovery and perhaps take steps to embark on future research!

**Attending this program does not require your participation in future research, but we hope that some of you may be inspired to help continue this important work !**
