Grab your binoculars from home and join the park naturalist to celebrate Father’s Day a little early! We will be looking for feathered friends of the forest while we talk about bird adaptations. Maybe we will be lucky and find some “feathered fathers (birds)” along this guided hike. Hickory Run State Park has diverse habitats perfect for finding all sorts of bird species. This family friendly guided 2½ mile hike will be an out and back hike along Sand Spring Trail. We will hike through the campground along Beach Trail to connect to Sand Spring Trail.  Please dress for the weather including close toed shoes walking/hiking shoes. Bring along water too!

Hike will take place in light rain, but not heavy downpours or thunderstorms.

· Participants in all programs are required to have a mask in their possession during the program and should be prepared to put it on when social distancing cannot be maintained.

· Program leaders will wear a mask at all times.
