Fly Me To The Moon

This is an opportunity for families with kids to come learn together! Daylight savings time has ended and the shorter days make it a great time to explore the night skies. Let’s play among the stars on this fun evening focusing on all things astronomy. Have you ever wondered how the craters on the moon were formed or perhaps how the constellations got their names? We’ll explore this and more as we take a journey to the moon, discover some of fall’s finest constellations and, weather permitting, view some of these fascinating features through the lens of a telescope!

This program will be held both indoors and outdoors. Wear warm layers and bring a flashlight.

While this program is aimed at the whole family learning together and all ages are welcome, the activities are best suited for elementary and middle school learning levels.
