Always wanted to learn how to fish? Or have a young one you want help in teaching how to fish? This program is for families and individuals with little to no fishing experience. Participants will learn the basics on casting, knot-tying skills, and how to identify fish in our area before you have your chance to use your new skills out on Poe Lake!

This program is FREE, and all equipment will be provided. If you have equipment of your own already you are more than welcome to bring it.

*If this is your first time out on the water this season, don’t worry about rushing out to buy a fishing license! The fishing license requirement is waived for this program for individuals 16 and older.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

This is a free program but you must register. Register using the green Register button to the right on this page. Please register ALL members of your group. More information like exact meeting location will be emailed out to registrants upon registration. Registration will close on Friday 4/26 at midnight.
