Fall Migration Round Up State Park Kick Off Birding Program
Join us for the start of our Fall Migration Competition! Yellow Creek State Park is an important rest on the Atlantic Flyway for birds migrating south. Come join us for a morning of birding watching with a few stops around the lake to see what's coming through. You might see songbirds, hawks, eagles, ducks, grebes, and mergansers passing through. Bring your binoculars & guidebooks or borrow ours. Meet at the Environmental Learning Center.
Drive past the park office (170 Rt 259 Hwy, Penn Run, PA 15765) on Rt 259 and go 1/2 to 3/4 of a miles, Turn left into Dragonfly Pond/Environmental Learning Center parking lot. We will drive to different sections of the park to look for birds.
