Join us for the start of our Fall Migration Competition! Yellow Creek State Park is an important rest on the Atlantic Flyway for birds migrating south. Come join us for a morning of birding watching with a few stops around the lake to see what's coming through. You might see songbirds, hawks, eagles, ducks, grebes, and mergansers passing through. Bring your binoculars & guidebooks or borrow ours. Meet at the Environmental Learning Center.
Drive past the park office (170 Rt 259 Hwy, Penn Run, PA 15765) on Rt 259 and go 1/2 to 3/4 of a miles, Turn left into Dragonfly Pond/Environmental Learning Center parking lot. We will drive to different sections of the park to look for birds.
