Water is LIFE and it is all around us here at Presque Isle State Park. Homeschooled children in grades K - 12 are invited to join the Park Naturalists for a day of fun water related activities and investigations. Children will be divided into groups based on Grade levels, with each group doing a different age appropriate activity. Meet at the Lagoon Boat Launch area. A pontoon boat ride will be included in the activities, anyone under 12 must wear a life preserver for the entire ride. Children should dress for the weather appropriately, Bring snacks, water, and a packed lunch. There is a fee of $6.00 (per child only), payable after registration by calling the park office at 814-833-7424 Monday thru Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM. Fee is non-refundable if your child is unable to attend. Space is Limited. Please indicate your childs current grade level as of September when you register, and register multiple children individually.
