Join us for seven different hikes throughout the park . All of the hikes in this series will be between 1-4 miles in length. We will discuss the flora and fauna along the way. This is a perfect time of year to explore the park as fall begins to take hold of the area over these next several weeks. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring bug spray, water, and an item of hunter orange clothing. 

Week 4 Thursday, October 16th. Rock Oak Hike. this program wil meet at the Rock Oak trailhead, located on North Shore Road. Distance is about 3 miles on moderate trails. Sections of this trail will have rocks and roots and be wet and muddy in spots. There is a small stream crossing on this trail.
