Explore birdwatching, a fun and accessible hobby that lets you observe and identify different species of birds from anywhere - anytime!  Find out about birding gear, books, and apps, and learn basics to identifying.  An indoor presentation will be followed by outdoor birdwatching.  A limited supply of binoculars and field guides are available for loan, or bring your own.

Road Detour Notice: Petroleum Center Bridge in Oil Creek State Park is closed to all vehicle traffic.  Vehicle access to Park Office is from PA State Route 227.  Follow detour signs from PA-227 onto Petroleum Center Road.  Alternatively, vehicles can park at the Petroleum Centre Train Station and walk across the bridge to the Park Office.
