Electrofishing at Yellow Creek Preregistration is required

Join IUP's David Janetski to learn about Yellow Creek's local fish populations, common fish sampling, and help electroshock live fish! Electroshocking is a safe and effective way to survey fish populations and learn about stream health.

All ages welcome, but only individuals age 12 and up can help with electrofishing.  Participants, ages 17 and younger must get a signed release form by parent/guardian.  Please bring your own waders if you have them.  If you want to help electrofish and need waders, please note your shoe size at registration.  Preregistration is required by 10/1/2021.
