Join a state park naturalist on the Delaware Canal Towpath at Easton while we discuss the life and times of Revolutionary Easton.  We will discuss Easton during the war and the aftermath that led to the construction of the Delaware Canal. 

For this hike we will be walking on mostly flat but somewhat rocky ground for a round trip of about 3 miles.  Please wear comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and bring water.  There is no restroom on site.

If you were present at the Easton History Hike on 05/30/26, you will note we focused on Easton’s founding history leading into the Revolutionary War.  For this walk, as the title implies, we will be focusing on the events in Easton during the Revolution and the immediate aftermath with the advent of the Delaware Canal.  You do not need to have attended the previous hike to join us for this one!
