EARTH WEEK AT RACCOON CREEK: Pollution Hike

Air and water pollution... What causes it? How does it affect us? And most importantly, why should we care? We'll be answering all of these questions and more at Raccoon Creek State Park. By conducting a few simple experiments, we'll be able to see what our air and water quality looks like here at the park. We'll also take a short hike around our trails and talk a little bit about the history of pollution here in Pennsylvania.

Any questions about the event may be directed to Joe Franckiewicz at jfranckiew@pa.gov

*Until further notice: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all participants must follow current guidelines from the PA Department of Health and the CDC, which include wearing a face covering or mask and practicing social distancing during the program.
