Start off your Independence Day celebrations by coming out and looking for our national symbol. Eagles are becoming almost common in Westmoreland County with several looking to call Keystone State Park home. 

Bring your canoe, kayak, or paddleboard and we'll set out first thing in the morning, the best time to spot them, and look for eagles and other birds. 

Registration for this event is required. To register, contact park naturalist Jean H. Keene at (724) 668-2939 or jkeene@pa.gov. Meeting location will be disclosed upon registration. 

Pa Fish and Boat Commission regulations are to be followed at all times during boating events.
