Do you love watching the bald eagle nests? You can help other park visitors enjoy the experience by becoming an Eagle Watch volunteer.
During this volunteer training, park staff will provide you with the skills needed to set up and use the Eagle Watch equipment and the background information to answer the visitor questions about eagles.
We will review the life cycle of bald eagles, the conservation efforts that helped to restore populations in PA, eagle watching tips and etiquette, plus how to set up and operate the spotting scope and Orion telescope.
Please bring along a small calendar or personal agenda so we can discusss the schedule for the Eagle Nest Watch season.
No obligation. Although park staff does encourage all newvolunteers to co-host with an experienced volunteer, potential volunteers are welcome to attend this training without signing up on the Eagle Nest Watch volunteer schedule,
