Come to the Instanter Boat Launch at Elk State Park for a chance to view bald eagles over East Branch Clarion River Lake. DCNR staff will have a spotting scope set up so participants can view their nesting platform or any eagle activity. Learn about their dramatic history in the United States and how our national bird was saved from the endangered species list. Hear about what challenges face them today, and what citizens can do to further protect this iconic species. This event will be postponed in the event of inclement weather.
