Dynamic Forest Restoration Workshop
124 Main St, Ohiopyle, PA 15470-0105
Conservation efforts throughout the 20th century have led to a great
reforestation on public lands throughout the state. Much of the conservation management until recently has been in the form of the “set it
and forget it” approach. As more data emerges about the impacts this
hands-off approach to land management has on our ecosystems, conservation efforts are evolving to promote diverse habitats within our
natural communities. Join us as we discuss the future of conservation
efforts within state parks.
