POSTPONED UNTIL OCT 8 DUE TO RAIN
Join Nolde Forest and Mifflin Community Library staff as we celebrate Art in the Forest Day.
We hope you come to the Forest early and explore all the different artists painting along Watershed Trail and learn more about the Nature of Nolde Student Art Contest. Then, if you are feeling inspired, we invite you to McConnell Hall for a drop in nature journaling session.
Nature Journaling is simply reacting to nature through words, pictures, and numbers. It teaches us to slow down and observe the world around us and there is no one way to do it - every nature journal is personal and different. But that doesn't mean we can't show you some tips and tricks for your journal!
This event is free and will happen on a drop in basis, meaning you don't need to attend right at the start - stop by any time during the hour long session to join us. We will have colored pencils, crayons, and paper on hand, but if you have your own supplies feel free to bring them.
This event is open to all - no registration needed.
Rain date is Oct 8 - if Art in the Forest Day is canceled, this program will be as well.
