Did you just get off work and your dog is all wound up and ready to play or go on a walk? Then come on out and join the Park Naturalist and the Butler Humane Society for an organized, guided hike on the Sunken Garden Trail. You and your dog will be hiking the short-loop (1.9 mile), which is an easy trail that will allow you both to unwind and enjoy nature, while getting active. Before the hike you will learn how to safely take your dog out on the trail and what you should carry in your pack to keep you and your four-legged buddy safe. All dogs must be friendly, remain on their leash while in the park, and up to date on shots. Participates must also pick up after their dogs. Wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather, and bring drinking water (for you and your dog) and a snack.
