Dog Days of Summer

Join your DCNR Park Naturalist for a special National Dog Day exhibit along the Multi-Use Trail to learn about the wild cousins of our best friends. Learn about how wild canines including fox, coyote and wolves are important and well adapted predators that help maintain the balance of nature. Discover which species are native to Pennsylvania, while taking a close up look at taxidermy, skulls, tracks and scat of these beautiful wild creatures that are the direct ancestors of our beloved household companions. Registration not required. DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS PARTICIPANTS ARE LIMITED TO 25 AT A TIME WITH MASKS AND 6 FEET SOCIAL DISTANCING.
