Conservation volunteer and avid birder, David Kruel, will lead a diurnal bird walk on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 6:00 pm. The walk will begin at the Crow Trail parking lot at Tuscarora State Park. Beginning at 7:00 pm, the group will go in search of owls and woodcocks followed by a star gazing session. You must register for this event by calling Robin at (570)-467-2506. The walk is approximately one mile in length and sponsored by the Schuylkill County Conservancy. Those attending are encouraged to bring along binoculars. This is not a pet friendly walk. You can come for all or part of the program. Shine only. Rain date is April 2.
