The remnants of Fort Pitt and Fort Duquesne have marked this area as a National Historic Site, preserving it for future generations to come. If you've ever wanted to try to be an archaeologist, now is your chance to step into their shoes! Practice digging through different layers in excavation trays, finding replica artifacts along the way. This program is free to attend. Please meet under the large oak tree, opposite from the Fort Pitt Blockhouse on the Fountain side of the park.
