Let's explore Little Yellow Creek for creek critters like Mayflies, stone flies, crayfish, and other Macros.  After a short introduction, we will explore the creek to catch macros of all sizes.  Please wear shoes that can get wet and bring a pair to change into.  Please bring a notebook or sketchbook, pencil, and water bottle so you can make observations of the creatures that live in the creek.  This program is geared for ages 7 - 14.  Adult must accompany students.  Please be aware that this is a formal program and students are expected to participate and make scientific observations.   Program is weather dependent. If raining steadily or storming, program will be cancelled.

We will meet at Lakeview Pavilion in the Day Use.  Driving Directions from Park Office 170 Rt 259 Hwy, Penn Run, PA: Drive past the park office on Rt 259 Hwy. Go past South Boat Launch and take a right into Day Use.  Go over small bridge & take 1st right. Park by Lakeview Pavilion
