Grab your flashlight and join the park naturalist as we investigate the nocturnal sounds of nature on an easy 1.0-mile night hike around the Day Use area of Beltzville State Park. Test your senses as we adjust to the nocturnal environment, while we search for creatures of the night who call the park home. We’ll play a night hike game, and may even call in a few owls! The terrain is relatively easy, but uneven in spots, so please wear sturdy walking or hiking shoes, and wear weather appropriate clothing. Participants should bring a flashlight. *Rain will cancel the hike
We will be meeting at the Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) for this program.
Registration is REQUIRED, as group size is limited. Please register each individual attending, separately.
