Need a Valentine’s Day date idea?  Take your partner out for a day of friendly competition and historic logging skills practice. A 'woodhick' is a term for someone who worked in the 19th century lumber industry.  Two-person events will include, cant hook log races, crosscut saw wood cookie cutting, and flint and steel fire water boil.  Registrants must be in teams of two and 18 years and older.  Introductory demonstrations will take place before each event.  Safety gear will be provided.  If you have any questions, please contact Curtis Sherwood at cusherwood@pa.gov or call the Tiadaghton Resource Management Center at (570) 735-5409.  Registration is Required.
