Join the Park Naturalist at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center in Room 112 to learn how vital Presque Isle was to the War of 1812 and how the fleet was built. View some of the tools used and techniques that shipwrights used to build the fleet in 6 months during an Erie winter. Learn what life was like for those who served on those vessels once they set sail. No fee or registration for this event.
