This project seeks dedicated volunteers to collect data on cavity nesting bird populations. Bird nest boxes are located throughout the park; volunteers will learn how to collect information about the species and young for their assigned box numbers once a week. Volunteers may monitor the box with whatever time best fits their schedule during the day. The monitoring season begins in March with cleaning and repairing boxes, continues with monitoring through August/September, and ends after their data has been compiled.
