The Red de Escuelas de Música de Medellín orchestra will perform a free public concert in the Washington Crossing Historic Park Visitor Center auditorium on November 11 from 2 to 3 PM. Headquartered in Colombia, this program offers youth development through 27 schools of music and serves more than 5,000 students between the ages of 7 and 24. As part of the youth orchestra’s New England tour, 80 young musicians from this youth development program will perform symphonic, choral, tango, traditional Colombian music, and urban music at the park. No tickets or registration are required.
