DESCRIPTION:Join EES Robin Tracey from Tuscarora SP for a hike to Cold Spri
 ngs in the Stony Valley on Saturday\, October 12\, 2024 at 9:30 am.  The tr
 ail is 5-7 miles in length and moderate in difficulty.   Cold Springs was o
 nce a booming resort town with the building of the Dauphin and Susquehanna 
 Railroad through Stony Valley in 1850-1851.  A fire in 1900 destroyed most 
 of the buildings in town\, but a few foundations remain.  It’s a great area
  to explore. We will meet at the AT parking lot located at the junction of 
 443 and 72 which leads into the back of Fort Indiantown Gap to carpool.  Br
 ing a lunch.   Dogs are welcome\, but must be leashed and get along well wi
 th people and other pets.  Shine only.  Pre-registration is required by cal
