Bring your own coffee, tea, or cocoa and take a walk with the park educator to learn about the Project Feeder Watch bird count. We will discuss the ten most common winter feeder birds, their food preferences, and how winter bird feeder counts help scientists learn more about the health of our environment.
All participants must wear facemasks and practice social distancing. Group size limited to 10 participants. Bring your own binoculars. Pre-registration is recommended. Meet outdoors in front of the Wildlife Center.
This program will take place outdoors and will include a short walk around the building and nearby trails to look for birds.
Amid concerns about the potential spread of COVID-19, all indoor programs have been cancelled until further notice.
