Join us for our 2nd Annual Candy Cane Hunt on January 1, 2026, at Beltzville State Park, presented by the Friends of Beltzville State Park! 

We’re thrilled to introduce this exciting new event, where children aged 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 can enjoy age-appropriate hunts for candy canes, and enjoy the outdoors

Event Details:

Sign-In: Starts at 12:30 PM and ends at 12:45 PM near the playground in Parking Lot B.

Parental Supervision: Required, and parents are encouraged to assist as kids embark on this delightful adventure.

After the hunt, unwind by a warm campfire at the Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) and soak in the cozy atmosphere. Don’t forget to bring a bag for collecting candy canes and dress appropriately for the weather.

Donations: Greatly appreciated to support future events and enrich our community offerings!

This is a wonderful way to start off the New Year, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and stick around for our First Day Hike, which starts at 2 PM.
