Learn about our Riparian Buffer, and plant a tree. Trees produce nearly 30% of the earth’s oxygen, and they are imperative for our survival. We created a Riparian Buffer with native trees and shrubs for streambank stabilization as well as enhanced water quality and wildlife habitat. Come be a part of this important project. Learn about the native plantings and leave a legacy for years to come. Meet at the Dairy Barn by the main parking lot. Dress for the weather, and wear waterproof boots as our route along the North Creek Trail crosses through a stream. (An alternate, dry route to the Riparian Buffer area will be pointed out.) Free.
