On this day we honor the boys of the Civilian Conservation Corp, who made Promised Land the beautiful park it is today.  Our CCC Boy, Cornelius McHugh will be interviewed at 11am with cake and coffee to be served afterwards.  There will be a free concert by Van Wagner at 10am, a site tour at 1pm and dancing at 2pm.  An F.D.R. living history performance will take place throughout the day as well as blacksmith demonstrations by Guy Seiffert.  There will be artifacts on view that are not normally on display and historical societies will be present with information on local history.  Food for sale will be available.  ADMISSION AND PARKING TO THIS EVENT ARE FREE!
