Discover the Civilian Conservation Corp and the role they played in making Promised Land State Park beautiful during this special one day event!  The day kicks off with a free concert by Van Wagner at 10am, followed by cake and coffee at 11am.  There will be a lecture and book signing by author Marty Podskoch at 12pm and an Historic Site Tour at 1pm.  Local historical societies will have tables with literature on our local history, Steamtown will operate its "Ring of Fire", Guy the Blacksmith will be bending metal at the Blacksmith shop.  The Blacksmith Shop and Masker Museum will be open with artifacts not normally on display.  Food for purchase from Roadside Bistro and Manning's Ice Cream will be available.  THIS EVENT IS FREE!
