CCC Walk and Talk

Join the park educator for an interpretive walk to learn about the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC). We will visit several spots in the park that were built by the CCC in the 1930s to commemorate the work they accomplished at Raymond B. Winter State Park. Please meet at the Environmental Learning Center for a brief introduction on the park's history. We will remain on paths or trails, but participants are still recommended to wear close-toed walking shoes.

If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least seven days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for programs. For program questions or accommodations, contact the park educator at rebharner@pa.gov or 570-966-1455.
