To celebrate America’s 250^th Anniversary, we are embarking on a quest to learn skills that Americans would have needed 250 years ago. Join the park naturalist to learn how to make candles the old-fashioned way. We will be dipping taper candles, discussing the rich history of candle making, and learning about the importance of candles in the late 1700s-early 1800s. Stop by anytime during the program hours, this program will be casual and ongoing.

**Candle making involves extremely hot, melted wax, so young children will need extensive assistance from their guardian to participate. No dogs please.
