We all love looking at birds and watching baby birds leave the nest! More than 80 species of North American birds depend on cavities for nesting including our beautiful native bluebirds, purple martins, tree swallows, wrens, chickadees, nuthatches, wood ducks, screech owls and many more. You can help create nesting habitat by building a birdhouse. Supplies will be provided for everyone to build their own bluebird nest box. Along with the craft, we will also be learning about other ways to enhance our backyards for wildlife and free conservation handouts will be provided. Join UDEL wildlife student and Friends of WCCP volunteer Nicole for this free program. Spaces are limited to 20 boxes and families are welcome to come and learn as well!
