Enjoy watching the full moon rise over Black Moshannon Lake.   Discover interesting facts about the moon while waiting for it to rise.   Meet at Boat Launch #2 on West Side Road.  

This is a "drive-in" sky viewing.  We will not be gathering at the picnic table.   We will use a speaker so everyone can hear the program.   Bring a camera and/or some chairs to sit outside your vehicle if you like.   Binoculars are also recommended for a close up view.   This program will be cancelled if raining or complete cloud cover.  

Pre-registration is required and limited.   There is enough room for 8 vehicles to park in that parking area.   One person registering will be counted as one vehicle.   If bringing family/household members in the same vehicle, they do not need registered. 

***PLEASE NOTE*** Program participants must bring a face covering or mask with them and have it in their possession during the program in case it’s needed for various reasons (when social distancing cannot be maintained, need to go indoors where masks are required, etc.)
