In the days before cameras, naturalists had to rely on their own artistic abilities to capture the likeness of flora and fauna. Come on down to Raccoon Creek State Park, where we'll be practicing the time-honored skill of botanical sketching. Participants will learn about basic plant anatomy and practice sketching several plant specimens. We will provide all necessary materials, but participants are welcome to bring their own sketchpads if they choose. Registration is required for this free program.
