In the days before cameras, naturalists had to rely on their own artistic abilities to capture the likeness of flora and fauna. At Raccoon Creek, we'll be practicing the time-honored skill of botanical sketching. Participants will learn about basic plant anatomy and practice sketching different plant specimens. We will provide pencils and paper, but guests are welcome to use their own sketchbook if they prefer. Registration is required for this free program.
