DESCRIPTION:Join Cavity-Nesting Trail Coordinator Jan Hardner for an inform
 ative and exciting session about bluebirds! Hear a presentation on this str
 iking and charismatic native songbird (and other cavity nesting birds)\, th
 en observe a real bluebird box check. You will get to take a peek at the ha
 tchlings\, and learn how our dedicated volunteer monitors work to maintain 
 habitat for cavity nesting birds while also collecting important data for f
 urther research. Information will be available for those interested in gett
 ing involved in this citizen science project.\n\n \n\nNo registration requi
 red! All ages welcome. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or
  guardian. Parking is available in Parking Lot 12 (Google Maps Link).\n\n \
 n\nDirections to Environmental Education Center from the Park Office:\n\n1.
  From the park office parking lot\, head northeast by turning right onto Ro
 ute 563/ Mountain View Drive.\n2. Proceed 0.8 miles to Harrisburg School Ro
 ad and turn right.\n\n3. Proceed 0.3 miles to the stop sign (entering the p
 ark) and turn right.\n\n4. Proceed 0.2 miles to parking lot #12 and park.\n
 \n5. Using either the main park roadway or the gravel path\, walk through t
 he wooded area 400 ft to the Environmental Education Center.
