Join a park naturalist as we take a walk and explore the world of birding. We will discuss the basics needed to get into this ever-popular activity: the tools you need to get started, how to use field-marks to correctly identify what you’re looking at, as well as an introduction to birding by ear, or identifying birds by their calls. Binoculars and field guides will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own along.
Ages 10 and up. Free program. Registration is required by clicking the green button to the right.
