 back yard\; join our DCNR staff near the pool and picnic area for an introd
 uction to birding\, and binocular use! Take a quick lesson on how to use a 
 pair of binoculars and then walk the park to practice it yourself on the so
 ngbirds\, raptors\, and waterfowl that frequent this area. Learn how to uti
 lize popular birding apps like Merlin to make birding easier and more acces
 sible! A limited number of binoculars will be available for use\, but parti
 cipants are encouraged to bring a pair if they have them. This program will
  be canceled in the event of adverse weather conditions.
