Bird-window Collisions
1137 Honey Hole Road, Drums, PA 18222
Our windows are killing birds. Annually up to one billion birds die from colliding with windows. Learn why it’s not big cities and high-rise buildings, but our homes, shopping centers, corporate and college campuses causing the most harm. Following the presentation, you’ll be able to create and take home materials designed to cut down on bird-window collisions. Please bring measurements of several windows you’d like to stop bird collisions on.
*Please note: this program contains images of dead birds which may make some people uncomfortable.
Ages 16 & up. Registration required, please call the park office 570-403-2006. Free.
